An industry veteran, Stanimira Koleva has nearly 25 years of experience managing sales and business development for multinational companies across the globe and specifically within the Asia Pacific & Japan region. She has held several senior management roles across the Asia and EMEA.
Stanimira was appointed as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific Japan for Citrix in August 2016 and assumes the responsibility for all Citrix Asia Pacific and Japan revenues, as well as marketing, support, operations and new market development throughout broader Asia Pacific region, which includes ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand, Greater China, India, Japan and South Korea.
Prior to joining Citrix, Stanimira was the senior vice president and chief operations officer, for the APJ region at Software AG. She had previously served as the General Manager for Small and Midmarket Segment and Partners (SMS&P) at Microsoft APAC where she drove the overall business strategy. Before joining Microsoft, Stanimira was Vice President of the Partner Business Group for Cisco Systems for the Asia Pacific, Japan and Greater China (APJC) region, where she oversaw the company’s partner strategy and led the commercial customer segment for the region, addressing the needs of small and mid-sized enterprise customers. Prior to joining Cisco, Stanimira spent ten years with 3Com Corp and five years with Bulgaria’s leading IT company, Prosoft, in leading management roles including Asia Pacific Vice President and GM, and Vice President for Enterprise Sales for Europe, Channel Sales Director International (EMEA and Asia Pacific).
Stanimira holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and Business Administration, both from Technical University in Sofia, Bulgaria.
