Atul is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Sabre Partners, bringing over 21 years of extensive experience in the Financial Service Sector. With a strong background spanning various domains, he has accumulated invaluable expertise, particularly in the Private Equity/Venture Capital sector for 14 years and in the listed Market, working in the Equity Research domain for 4 years for a Sell Side Firm. He has also worked in Banks in the credit underwriting department.

Prior to his tenure at Sabre, Atul held the position of CFO for a decade at Seedfund, an early-stage Venture Capital fund, and worked for seven years at Kubera Cross Border Fund, an AIM Listed Private Equity Fund.

His proficiency extends across a spectrum of areas including PE/VC Investments, Finance, Accounting, Investor Reporting, MIS, Systems & Processes, Controls, Valuations, Treasury, Tax, Fund Compliance, and Stock Market-related compliances.

Beyond his CFO role, Atul has substantial transaction experience in Investments & Exits, having been involved in over 35+ Investment transactions and 14+ exit transactions. Moreover, he possesses broad expertise across all stages of the fund life cycle; from Fund Incorporation & Fundraising to the Investment Stage, Portfolio Monitoring, Fund Closure & Distribution of funds.

Throughout his career journey, Atul has had the opportunity to work for renowned organizations such as J.P. Morgan, Crisil, Centurion Bank, and ICICI Bank.

Academically, he is a graduate of Cornell University’s CEMP program, a Chartered Accountant from ICAI, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Nagpur University. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specializations in Marketing & Finance from SIMS, Pune, and a Master’s degree in Risk & Insurance Management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
